How to Stop Punting [Endurance Training for Boulderers Guide 2024]

INTRODUCTION

Believe it or not, endurance training is an extremely useful tool for boulderers, and is something that needs to be trained (which we have pointed out on this channel before, though I could listen to our own advice a bit more myself!)

But, it doesn’t have to be extremely boring, either. That’s why in this episode, we take you through loads of variations for endurance training ranging from on the wall bouldering, circuits, and rope climbing, to off the wall hangboards, campus boards, and even the use of a force gauge. So, be sure to watch the entire episode for helpful information including sets, reps, rest time, and programming!
