Break Through Plateaus, Gain Confidence, Optimize Performance
Enhanced Training plans offer ongoing expert guidance for anyone looking to optimize their performance, build strength, prevent future injuries, or need help breaking through a plateau.
If you’ve experienced an injury in the past and are now pain-free—but remain unsure how to safely return to high-intensity training on your own—this program is built for you. Through a sleek, user-friendly app, you’ll have 24/7 access to your custom exercises, HD videos, and training schedule. Most importantly, you’ll have a direct line to Dr. Jason Hooper to answer questions and provide feedback as you progress. You can even upload videos here to review form on specific exercises to make sure you’re performing them correctly.
The program starts with twice-monthly follow-ups to dial in your training and adjust your plan. Once your routine is locked in, you have the flexibility to move to a Maintenance Tier, choosing between continued monthly follow-ups or continue app access to track your data and stay in communication with Jason.
If you’re looking to optimize your results and get back on track faster and more confident than ever, this program is for you
Please Note: This program focuses on physical preparation, strength, and load management. If you are looking for technical climbing coaching—specifically to focus on your technique and seasonal performance strategy—we highly recommend working with Dan Beall.

Getting Started
Step 1: Secure Your Package. Your initial payment covers your first month of expert support and your recurring follow-up credits. This locks in your spot in the program and initiates your onboarding.
Step 2: Book Your Launch Session. You will book your initial consultation immediately upon checkout. Note: This will initially be listed as a 30-minute appointment, but I will manually expand it to a full 60-minute session on our calendars to ensure we have time for a deep-dive into your goals.
Step 3: Complete Your Athlete Profile. Check your inbox for an invite to the Practice Better portal and a link to your Training Plan Intake Form. Please complete this form and the accompanying waivers before our meeting; this allows me to review your history and "hit the ground running" during our first call.
Step 4: Access Your Program. Immediately following our appointment, I will build your custom profile in the training app. You'll receive an invite to log in, where your exercises, schedule, and video demonstrations will be waiting for you.
Step 5: Refine & Progress. The journey doesn't stop at the first session. We will meet for regular follow-up appointments to discuss your progress, review your movement patterns, and make the necessary adjustments to keep you climbing toward your peak.
FAQ’s
-
No. Just like our recovery plans, training tiers are month-to-month. You can cancel, pause, or change your level of support at any time. We believe in providing value every single month—if you’re getting results, you’ll want to stay.
-
Yes. Once you are comfortable with your routine and hitting your marks, you can transition to a maintenance tier with monthly check-ins or app-only access to stay in contact with Jason
-
Yes, but in a specific way. By optimizing your strength, improving your finger-load capacity, and managing your training volume, we are building a more resilient and powerful "engine." A stronger athlete with better load management can climb harder, longer, and more frequently without injury. However, this is not technical coaching. If you are looking for instruction on movement technique or seasonal performance strategy, we recommend coaching with Dan Beall.
-
The difference is your starting point. Enhanced Recovery is designed for those currently managing a specific injury or pain. Enhanced Training is for athletes who are currently pain-free but want to break through plateaus, optimize their performance, or ensure they don't get re-injured as they increase their training intensity.
-
Not necessarily. Your training plan is custom-built around the equipment you actually have. Whether you train in a world-class facility or in your garage with a hangboard and a few kettlebells, we will optimize your program to get the most out of your available tools.
-
Not at all. "Expert guidance" isn't just for professionals; it’s for anyone who values their time and wants to train smarter. Whether you are trying to send your first V5 or your first V13, having a structured plan and an expert in your corner prevents the "guessing games" that lead to wasted effort and possibly injury.
-
You can message Jason directly through the training app whenever questions arise. This is perfect for quick form checks (uploading a video of a specific move or exercise) or getting immediate feedback on how to adjust a workout if you’re feeling under-recovered.
-
Yes. For athletes outside of California, this service is provided as Health and Performance Coaching. You get the same expert programming and oversight, but it is classified as professional coaching rather than clinical physical therapy.
-
Most plateaus happen because of "junk volume," poor load management, inefficient movement mechanics, or a lack of specific progressive overload. We use the app to track your data and our follow-up sessions to analyze your training. Having an expert’s external perspective allows me to identify exactly what’s holding you back and provide the adjustments needed to get you back on track.
